I got my breast augmentation summer of 2021 and have wanted to leave a review for years now, but I also wanted to leave time for grace. I went to Dr. Alexander because of his credentials and because he was certain that he was the top surgeon in Las Vegas. I thought, well…he’s charging me the most out of all these doctors, so he must be the best. $8800 initial cost plus the cost of exams and x-rays on top. He doesn’t even have his own operating facility, or his own operation team like some of the other surgeons in Las Vegas. Through this process, I only saw the Dr twice. Once at the initial consultation, and once on the operation bed. I was quite confused on the size of implants and how they would look under my muscle and how they would look realistically after the operation. Unfortunately, I only had the nurses to discuss this with and they all had different responses of course, which led to even more confusion. This led me to choosing the wrong size for my procedure. It also upsets me that I still have very visible scars from this operation, 3 years later, after multiple sessions of V-Beam, Co2, and some other laser that was recommended to me. I’ve tried many scar screams and ointments and nothing will help lighten the scars I was left with. I should have taken it as a red flag when Dr. Alexander told me that it is inevitable for me to see scars, and there WILL (confidently) be scars. However, his incisions are only 5cm long. I asked him if he could place the incisions strategically where my breasts fall and crease, and he said it’s hard to tell where they will fall. I now have 2” scars on both breasts, placed ABOVE the natural crease of where my breasts fall. It was my fault for not doing my research, as many of my friends have found surgeons that make smaller incisions, and are more confident in their abilities to leave you scarless, or with minimal scars. I also am upset that I was talked into and encouraged to get incisions under my breast, rather than through my armpits. Through certain arm and chest movements, it looks as if I have deflated implants in my chest and it is so embarrassing. I just advise you all to please, please do your research and do not be in a rush for a procedure as I was. I have paid over $1500 after this procedure to try and lighten or remove these scars, but have been unsuccessful . I am forever scarred, literally.
